More About Me

Partner | REALTOR®

A native born Oregonian, Leslie Walker is now happy to call Boise Idaho his new home. Having the opportunity to live in many places across this great nation and spending 5 year in the US Navy as Hospital Corpsman, traveling worldwide, experiencing many different people, places and culture, Boise is just the place he's been searching for. The next logical step for Leslie was to find a place to continue his real estate career which started in Central Oregon in 2005. Amherst Madison Legacy Real Estate was just the place for Leslie to expand his ongoing real estate career as both share many of the same core values.

Leslie has always been an outgoing, optimistic, dedicated and genuine person. From a young age, Leslie strove for excellence in all areas of his life. Feeling a larger sense of duty than just to himself, it was only natural Leslie found him drawn to the culture of the Armed Forces as his father served in the US Army during Vietnam. Leslie's older brother Aaron paved the way for Leslie and his youngest sister Libby, both whom joined the US Navy as their older brother had done.

From this experience, Leslie adopted strong values in honor, courage, commitment and accountability. These foundational characteristics have shaped and formed every aspect of Leslie's life to this very day. He now carries these values in the forefront of his mind when approaching any endeavor. Partnering with Amherst Madison Legacy, given their reputation for excellence is a perfect fit.

Experienced in Real Estate since 2005, Leslie got his start in New Construction homes during the “big boom” of the early 2000's. This experience helped Leslie learn how to successfully organize, manage and represent both buyers and sellers in a fast past, ever changing market. Lot site selection, construction phases, interior option selection, final inspections and document preparation/execution were all key elements in building successful relationships with clients from every walk of life.

As the real estate market continued to change, new construction gave way to a plethora of re- sale homes and the need to help represent a new class of clients who were selling 1st homes to purchase 2nd residences, investment properties and vacation homes. This presented a great challenge for Leslie as he continue to serve his past clients while continuing to work with 1st time home buyers and people new to the real estate experience. Helping his clients no matter what level of real estate planning they needed was a dynamic part of Leslie's career which he brings to every transaction today.

During the “great recession” of the mid 2000's, Leslie again found the need to redefine him as the market faulted greatly in Central Oregon and the nation. Working with short sales, foreclosures and REO properties became the norm and Leslie has great experience in these areas as well. Never letting a negative situation stand in his way, Leslie went back to school, using his GI Bill, became a Paramedic and moved to the Midwest, working in the Oil Fields. Moving closer to home in 2016, Leslie has been able to blend both professional fields of his life here in Boise, working as a Paramedic and a Realtor.  Leslie embodies core values reflective of Amherst Madison Legacy and will be an asset to this agency and all clients in which he serves.
